  2. A sweet and tasty trip to the fair.
The state fair in Grand Island is a sweet and tasty time. There is food, and treats located all over the fair. I go to the state fair and I always see all the different kinds of food and treats around the fair. The state fair is a great experience for some, and there are many different things to try. Many different people go to the fair with there stands and show off their different things.

  3. Some of the attractions at the state fair on opening day were free admission before noon, which the state fair did attract a lot of people, although it was very hot and humid. The writer of this article attended 4-H exhibits, outdoor exhibits, he attended a cattlemen’s exhibit, and he and his wife also learned how to make state fair cinnamon rolls, which the recipe is included at the end of the article.

Nebraska state governor Dave Heineman declares that Nebraska agriculture’s main enemy is the Environmental Protection Agency. State Ag Director Greg Ibach says EPA has expanded its authority against agriculture on several occasions and hampered with personal privacy, property rights and has attempted to cut the fuel standard. Governor Dave Heineman calls it ridiculous.

  6. Swin for sale: How kids livestock shows became a cutthroat.
Talked about how people can't afford to buy the expensive show hogs so some are having to go with the lower priced, lower quality hogs, and that is making them not as good. Children don't live on farms as much anymore so many kids aren't getting the experience. I think the article has a good point I don't think it is all about the winning that matters I think it should be for the experience. I think that more kids should have the experience of working with animals and showing them, it teaches kids a lot of different things and its a great experience.

  7. Making the connection between technology lab and farm

They talked about how that are trying to add more technology to farming to make it more efficient and easier. They are using GPS in tractor so the rows will all be strait and you can also make holes, drop offs and other problem areas in a field. They also created an app to go with the new pivots that will track each tower for you and when you log on you can change setting if needed or just check the pivot. I think that this technology will be very beneficial.
