  1. Well, I think thattttt Agriculture even in big cities like Omaha is important, there are farms around Omaha and the people thinking it would be weird for students to want to be involved in FFA are the actual weird ones. Just beeccause you dont really like FFA, it is a bigggggg part of living in Nebraska. How could it be weird when half of Nebraska is mostly open plains, pastures, and fields of corn, beans, etc, Its all around us.

  2. I think it is good that more and more schools are getting FFA in their school. Since agriculture is the leading industry in Nebraska I think it is only right that more and more kids can learn about what helps our state grow and be awesome.

  3. More Nebraska kids studying agriculture. I think this is a very good thing and I am glad to see it. 157 school are now bringing agriculture into the classroom. Also kids said its weird how they are city kids doing things with agriculture. I think it is a good thing for even city kids to do a little bit with agriculture so they understand some parts of it. I think agronomy is a very important thing for people to understand. I am also going to college for agronomy.

  4. It is basically there are less farming jobs then what are need for the "immigrants". There are more than 20,000 U.S. farms that employ over 435,000 immigrant workers legally every year. There are thousands more that are illegally employed. People say the would rather hire immigrants because they are more willing to do the farm work.

  6. I think it is a good idea to put a garden into an old pool. It would save you a lot of money to just have everything you need in your backyard. They say that they only use $100 a week for things like coffee, oil, and things to maintain the garden pool. It would save a lot of money in the future.

  7. I read the article about the wheat it was about deasies that were taking moisture away form the wheat plants and was ruining the plant and the farmers loses money in what they put into and then they lose it all and then they lose money and go broke which is not good.

  8. In Kentucky.. Hemp growing and use is on a rise.. People have been using the non high producing plant for many years but in 1970 it was banned unless you have a federal permit because of its classification as a controlled substance related to marijuana. It is only studied in certain labs and grown for agricultural use.. uhh it would be beneficial for farmers or people to start growing it because it could be a potential money maker, it has many uses like making clothing, hemp milk, cooking oil, soap and lotions. yeah.
