1. I was interested in becoming a farm hand because I wanted to learn more about farming and how everything works and runs on the farm. I had a job opportunity so I decided to take it and hopefully help myself learn and maybe teach myself, or be taught.
ReplyDelete2.There were many times when we had to fix something that was broken or was going to soon be broken if not taken care of. We also had to do normal maintenance on things such as tractors, combines, engines and the grain bins. I also sometimes had to shred weeds or spray a little weeds.
3.One day when I was just with my dad he was working on the tractor and I was with him just watching and I kept asking him all these questions because I wanted to know more about how it worked and came apart and went back together. My dad also has farmed pretty much all of his life so I have helped him a lot here and there so I have thought about it before.

I was motivated by my mother and father to succeed in my SAE. Theyve always wanted me to do the best work i can and love what i am doing, Even if it does suck doing it.
ReplyDeleteI have no interest in doing hogs for the rest of my life. It is merely what my dad does. Working on the various farms did give me a good work experience. My motivation is keeping alive. For without the help of me and my sister the farm would fail and chumly will starve. This gives me good experience for when I go out into the world and to have a job. One time I saw electician working for my dad to get a barn set up electrical-wise.

ReplyDeleteI've always been interested in working with cattle. I believe that my interest probably started when my dad taking me with him to work . He and I have always been really close and so when he took me with him and had me help in working cattle entreating cattle and just riding with him when he fed it just left a big impact on me and since then I've kind of wanted to stay doing what he's always done. He's worked on a feedlot since he was about 1415 years old and I've always admired my dad and wanted to follow in his footsteps.
ReplyDeleteI think on a day-to-day basis basically what I do is I raise cattle for show and so I just feed and check in chore every day it's not much of a huge difficult task right now but I hope that in the years to come I can make something out of it and become a manager or something. I think what started my interest is when my dad had help me learn how to sort for the first time and when he help me treat the heifers and calves one year.
I think the biggest impact that his been impressed upon me is my dad because he's always been a huge influence in my life and the way he teaches me to work cattle and you care about what you're doing and just do every day stuff that him and I can do together is left a huge impression on me and it's left a big impression impact also I hope that someday I can have years of experiencethat my dad has but at the same time I want to have a job that works with cattle but is still very productive and I am satisfied with every day life
