  1. Nebraska State Fair Board Considers Change for Next Year
    The State Fair will get a new website and new exhibits for the Raising Nebraska Exhibit. They used technology to determine which exhibit fair attendees went to the most and what people are more interested so they can have more exhibits like those. One new building could include how people from other countries are affected by Nebraska agriculture.

    Recent research by the firm Agri-Pulse shows that a number of organizations are steering veterans to the farm, and several initiatives are providing training, marketing and financial help to soldiers who wish to return to the nation’s agrarian roots. The Farmer-Veteran Coalition is an organization that helps returning veterans find employment and training on farms and ranches and in other agriculture-related careers.

  3. Jason Kvols grew up on a farm in Nebraska, but his parents encouraged him to go to college and get a degree. So he majored in business and took a job in Tennessee. But his true passion of farming brought him back and he took over his dad's farm more than 10 years ago. Kvols recently added livestock, which the farm bureau is hoping the younger generation of farmers will look into.

    Well, this article talks about hiring veterans to work in farms around the country. This gives everyone an different experience because the way the farm was run may be changed to new ideas a that may improve the efficiency or just how easy day to day activities are done.
