I believe that to live and work on a good farm, or to be engaged in other agricultural pursuits, is pleasant as well as challenging; for I know the joys and discomforts of agricultural life and hold an inborn fondness for those associations which, even in hours of discouragement, I cannot deny.
ReplyDeleteTo me this is saying that you can be involved in agriculture without working and or living on a farm but by being involved in some part of the process somewhere. With this line of work there is always ups and downs and things to be proud of and something that you wish you could change. People that work on or around the farm deal with a lot more unseen things and people will never know.
